I am Jacqueline. I was born in Zambia, raised largely in South Africa after some early years in Britain. I lived as a foreigner in central Mozambique for 13 years, then for something completely different lived in a 17th century farmhouse in France where we tried ‘living off the land’ for a year. I am currently living near an ancient market town in England. In my life I have been a ‘Preachers Kid’, an anti-apartheid activist, project manager, development consultant and I have run two play-schools and home-schooled my own children. I am a Christian, mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend and animal lover. My motto is pray, dance, laugh and sing. I have multiple and shifting interests and am so open-minded my brains tend to fall out. Fortunately ultimately my life is made steady by the fact that it’s built upon the rock. Jesus is that rock.
My blog’s header is a photo of part of Africa’s Great Rift Valley, taken when we visited Malawi. “Africa’s Great Rift Valley is a 6,000-mile crack (fissure) in the earth’s crust, stretching from Lebanon to Mozambique.” (Exploring the Environment”.) The picture inspired my blog title- Neverending story as the rolling hills beckon one to keep dreaming, exploring, believing…
My great hope is that life itself is a never-ending story, continuing into eternity.
