Monday’s Poetry Stretch challenge at Miss Rumphius Effect this week is to write a tritina which is a:
10-line poem made of three, 3-line stanzas and a 1-line envoi. There is no rhyme scheme but rather an end word scheme.
Mine ended up as a haiku-tritina, I hope they are happy bedfellows.
A Tentative Tritina
Where is the great love?
upon which I lean my faith
I loose hope at times.
A sign of the times
people scrambling for new love
rather then their faith
All I need is faith
I forget this many times
despite His great love
Love many times helps fuel faith!
